You will see Busted Papers for sale. Over the years I have seen websites such as Florida Arrests and others such as Busted Locals.  You will see Busted Papers for sale in convenience stores.
What is interesting is what you see and what a predator sees are two different things.

You see your friend who got arrested for drunk driving, you see a person. A pimp sees a product.
Some of these sites are searchable by county, age range, crime.
For some people, it might be sad or entertaining. For the most part, you see people and a pimp sees a menu.  If he likes something he sees she is vulnerable.
It is not at all uncommon for a pimp to get calls from women in 2 or 3 county jails depending on the size of a metropolitan area looking for someone to bond them out (anything is better than being in jail).  Maybe she needs money for potato chips and shampoo until she is released in a few weeks.
Pimps aren't humanitarians. Should the pimp see a girl he likes on the menu and he has someone in the jail. She is vulnerable. If he sees someone he wants working for him but he doesn't have anyone in that jail already to talk to her. He will have one of his girls get arrested for a misdemeanor and go to jail for a few days just to get that girl to come work for him.

Why We Fight

"I started up with reading the article about you. All denied they have had any occurrence of human trafficking within their facilities. The manager for the female prison repeatedly said “such thing is not going on in my prison..” . To do a long story short, on the third day I came back to the article and asked again and this time, no surprise,  all of them could identify themselves with you."  Margareta krook, Senior human rights and legal aid expert, The European Union funded Rule of Law and criminal justice project in Iraq.  June 29, 2016.
